Newspaper Assignment:  The English Revolution

Using Microsoft Word or Publisher, create a newspaper that describes at least 4 of the following:

1. The Rump Parliament and and those who supported it.
2. The diets of the different classes in England at the time.
3. An editorial opinion piece on the king or the parliament.
4. The fate of people who were labelled as witches.
5. The main terms of the Bill of Rights.
6. Oliver Cromwell and his accomplishments.
7. The Test Act and its significance.
8. The major players in the war.
9. At least 3 events that led to the war.
10. The victors in the war and at least 2 results of the war.

Your work will be assessed according to the following criteria:

• 5 marks:  Correct formatting including margins, title, 3 graphics and use of correct fonts.
• 5 marks:  Work is saved correctly on the Assignments Drive.
• 20 marks:  Quality and Aesthetics:  Overall quality of the four articles.
• 20 marks:  Overall presentation.

The total possible on this assignments is 50 marks.
